I was under the impression that politicians are exempted. Only reason why Chiz's car got pulled over is because he wasn't in it.
Just have a lead car that is in law enforcement for moments she mentions (national address seems like an important appointment to be on time for). That way you don't need exemptions for politico's and you keep a bit of that juicy trias politica separation
