It's about as good as any chrome clone can be. It does have most of the things that make chrome useful, and seems to avoid the ones that make it annoying.

And that's what it comes down to; it's chrome with a facelift and some tweaking.

• I used it today on my mobile phone as a replacement to Brave , deleted it after 5 hours because during this 5 hours of light browsing ( I mean , I used it less than I usually do with Brave ) it consumed more data than what Brave usually consumes in one day ... It also consumed more storage than Brave
• customization options are nice
• I didn't notice any ads , but I noticed cookies message on one website even though I turned cookies lists in the settings
• As for your bonus question: yeah I used Brave , as a replacement to Firefox because Firefox on mobile sucks , but I don't use crypto and ads things , it worked fine untill the recent updates which made it buggy
