I've recently started hosting a node on my PC as I have a large SSD and unlimited data usage. I have done it before in the past but I didn't get round to it after changing PC in January.

I was thinking a slight "gamification" of running a node might encourage myself and others to run one. Something like a "health bar" congratulating users for being successfully connected to other nodes (or showing red when none are connected), and some sort of indicator of how much data one has successfully shared with other nodes.

If others think this is a good idea, how could I suggest it to the devs?

Can anyone think of any improvements to this idea?
