Tbh I’d not be surprised if that’s the case. Last time I had enough time to spare to rice me some arches was all the way back when I was in uni :(

I barely have enough time to hotfix my dotfiles nowadays :/

Same actually, that could really be it.

Nowadays I'm just happy to use even a desktop environment, while I would only consider windows manager (e.g. i3) back in the days

tangentially related – couple days ago there was a plague of CSAM spam hitting multiple instances – admins across the Lemmyverse have been busy purging image caches and blocking image posting for a day or two on various instances
