there's a number of them already. in fact, I'm using one to write this comment. perhaps I misunderstood you though. could you please elaborate on what you mean?
Is she looking for an "official" app--not realizing there isn't such a thing? That they all have different names and are so new that they all have different levels of functionality?
And that Lemmy.world is so slammed with new users that most of the apps don't seem to be working properly? ☺️
Jerboa is developed by the same people who develop lemmy. Probably as close to official as you are going to get.
Ah, I had forgotten that. But it's not called "Lemmy.app", so I think the minimally motivated will be confused?
I wasn’t looking for an official app, I know there’s no such thing. I was just having trouble finding one. Someone in this thread recommended wefwef, so I started using that & I like if.
Jerboa, connect, and wefwef are three I know of just off the top of my head
There are a bunch already… Wefwef is really good
Keep an eye out for https://github.com/Memmy-App/memmy. I’m not going to do TestFlight but look forward to it making it through the App Store submission process.
And wefwef.com, working well for me on iOS at least.
https://wefwef.app/ installed as a PWA on iPhone is an amazing experience, I don’t think I’d need a native app.
Thanks for mentioning wefwef, I’m using it now & I like it! 😁👍🏻 Hmm 🤔, I wonder why my post got downvoted though?
