Minimum wage enforcement could set back recovering businesses: MEF

If the business can't afford the minimum wage, then the business is not viable or doesn't have the volume to justify hiring an extra helping hand.
I've saw too many complains from Malaysia Employers Foundation (MEF) against the raise of minimum wages. The more they are against it, the more I support the policy.
It's a chicken and egg problem.
Low wages = consumer spending power low=poor sales=business die
But also high cost=business die=people lose jobs=consumer low spending power
