i did a bit of looking and it seems like they're* a detransitioner who is on that "the trans are groomers!" shit now

i guess they're controversial in the community, for whatever that's worth

*couldn't pin down their current pronouns but i believe they were a trans man. this is all the effort i could be bothered to put in

after like 35, it becomes much more awkward to say "boyfriend/girlfriend" than to say "partner" not just because of the significance of marital status implied, but because hopefully nobody in this equation is still a "boy" or "girl". i could only ever see using it again if i were like 70, in a nursing home, was shacking up with some ancient lady and my penis worked sometimes. then i would be like, "yeah, that's my girlfriend" as like a bit, just before i took my teeth out to enjoy some soup.

Huh couldn't they have picked which term to use based on the sim's pronouns? I'm a bit sad about the bf/gf one tbh, I think the terms boyfriend and girlfriend are cute.
