But the problem is Microsoft has such a dominant market share that you can’t really escape them. I guess unless you use a Mac or something I don’t know.

What constitutes successful avoidance?

For example, I tactically choose occupations which keep involvement of computers at a minimum. I'd already experienced the IT rodeo and decided I wanted out before Windows 11 dropped. Wisest choice in recent memory.
