The problem with "AI" that people don't yet understand is that it is nothing that the marketing claims. It is not "Intelligence", nor is it "Artificial". It is a really fast way of sorting things and producing those results at the direction of the constraints provided. That's it.

Anyone claiming it's just a tool is wrong. A tool is a faster way of accomplishing a task in the same manner with the same result. "AI" doesn't do that.

Anyone claiming it can create novel ideas is wrong. It's only capable of regurgitating what it's trained on.

It's the same old bullshit, just faster.

I really wish this would kick in with people faster so we can get out of this cyclical bullshit sooner as we did with all the assistant crap.
