Schrodinger's fake news: it was only a mistake because he got called out.

What a strange looking dude.

[-] littlewonder@lemmy.world 4 points 43 minutes ago

He looks like a slimy televangelist.

Like his plastic surgeon had to take a call midway through his reconstruction, then came back and said 'shit I'm late for my golf appointment'.

It was no mistake, Bret, you obsequious hack. You were hoping to just pull one over on Harris, a seasoned and talented prosecutor, and she took you to the cleaners for it.

[-] corsicanguppy@lemmy.ca 7 points 7 hours ago

Oh, it was ultimately a mistake.

It wasn't an error, no. They intended it.

But it was a mistake.

i don't watch fox, but don't they often get their asses handed to them by non-republicans? it wasn't long ago that stroke-survivor fetterman made asses of them live on-air

Jon Stewart roasted Tucker Carlson about his bowtie when Jon was a guest so badly that Tucker stopped wearing them.

https://youtu.be/GooQwKDMqcI?si=QrH-D3r8D13JiEYt

Stewart also more or less got Tucker’s original show taken off the air because he fucking CRUCIFIED - but in a hilariously subtle and elegant fashion - on Tucker’s own show when he was invited as a guest.

i'm old enough to remember that

funny enough, that was on CNN, stewart obliterated them and the show was canceled shortly after

[-] goonbabygoon@lemmynsfw.com 14 points 10 hours ago

Was that the Crossfire episode? Oof. I remember watching that back in the day. Not very often do you see a guest so completely dismantle the toxicity of a show that it gets cancelled very, very shortly thereafter.

jon stewart is a national treasure. the world would be a darker place without him both standing up for the people who need it and also bitchslapping the people who need it

Why do Republicans always look made of plastics? That fake face is so weird

[-] solsangraal@lemmy.zip 15 points 9 hours ago

i guess when your entire identity is based on falsehoods, then it follows that your face is also a falsehood

[-] Flax_vert@feddit.uk 11 points 10 hours ago
