It looks like you can both buy and sell XMR via cash by mail on this exchange. Does anyone know anything about it? It's not listed on kycnot.me and I don't see it mentioned here or in the Reddit r/monero sub.

Unless you have to use centralized sites like these for some reason, please use Haveno instead. Adopting the decentralized option now before Monero is banned everywhere is much better for the community than monkey-branching from centralized site to centralized site every time they delist Monero.

Completely agree. People are going to have to learn the decentralized option at some point anyway. So better to get it over with now than to try to learn later when it's required.

Agreed, but right now the max amount of XMR you can purchase on Haveno via cash by mail seems to be limited to $2000-3000, way less than the maximums we saw on localmonero.co.

There is an open PR to raise this limit.

Localcoinswap doesn't support Monero.

Oops, I see that now. You'd have to purchase LTC or BTC and then swap.

Never heard of it, I will not use something not listed on kycnot.me, I'd guess a fly by night operation which usually is a very high risk proposition, I wouldn't use it.

They accept monero on their platform now? Wow that's new.

[-] ksilverstein@monero.town 1 points 10 months ago

Sorry, I was incorrect. I thought they did, but they actually don't.

If you were paid to not support Monero it makes business sense.
