C’mon man, what do you want him to say? His driver could end up losing his championship for no fault of his. He won’t just sit by without protesting.

He’s just doing his job. He needs to speak out about something that would be unfavorable to him. He has to lead his team/org too and they’d like to see their boss take a stand.

Besides, he’s most probably just responding to a reporter’s question.

Doing his job so he’s obligated to answer. I’ll concede that; but if he must then surely he can give a more tactful answer than that or just have the balls to say ‘no comment’.

But they then can use the same or similar argument to flip the 2021 championship back to Lewis.

Is that not an example of a sport in disarray? Having two titles end up in court cases years after the seasons are over?

Before the end of that post-race show I predicted that title would be decided in a court room. I hope it does.

I really don't see enough similarities for that. The Massa-case is resting on the FIA knowing aboutfoul play and covering it up. In 2021, whatever you may think of it, there was no cover up, and an investigation after a protest by Merc stated that it was within the rules.

Toto being pro match fixing is not surprising.

He probably realized that Latifi crashing in the Mercedes B team was not deliberate manipulation from Red Bull and a crash is the only thing both events have in common.
