Okay, so of all the jeepneys in Metro Manila, how many of them won't be modernized and their drivers be jobless or be trained to do other work (which would leave them jobless anyways in the end)?
Even ignoring the human suffering this will cause, the possible economic ramifications of letting these people go jobless and idle. Ignoring all that, that is not an insignificant amount of jeepneys that won't be serving to transport people! Is this government even capable of filling up this gap (possibly hiring back those who will lose their livelihood)?
