I get that delays are frustrating but I never really understood why gamers get so irate about them. Honestly, yes; quality is more important than sticking to a date. Why would anyone want a worse game sooner?
It's also important to do a proper analysis when you have to delay for the first time because it should also be the last time.
When you promise to release something with five different dates, people kinda lose their trust in you.

Honestly, at this point, does it even matter that it's being delayed for a few more months? It's already been four years since Hardsuit Labs was removed from the project.
If they cared about quality they probably should have hired a quality team first and foremost.

If it's not barely stable and without at least one game breaking path that's not even that rare they're not living up to the name.
Yeah cool. CDPR said something similar when delaying cyberpunk.
