My assault on Vespers continues, and I feel like I'm getting close.
Vespers was one of those scents I tried really hard to like but never came around to it.

Figured today was the day to try War. To me it is overwhelmingly cilantro-esque with a metallic base. It is certainly not a calming, pleasant, or even enjoyable scent, but it is not wholly repulsive. It is still detectable even beyond my splash and frag. Lather was really good and the shave itself was nice. Happy Sunday!
I typically love scents that other people hate... I've never smelled War, but wonder if that pattern would hold true.
If I had a tub I would definitely send you some. It’s not as bad as others describe but certainly not a crowd pleaser. To me it’s in that same category as Stag with how bold it is.
