Rant incoming:

This is the part in Vessel of Hatred where you fight a series of ghosts while they spam one-shot-kill attacks and it is SO FUCKING BADLY DESIGNED. Some of the attacks are only telegraphed by barely glowing spots on the floor that you can't fucking see because of all the shit around you. Getting past it just felt like luck, I was dodging everything to the best of my ability and just. Kept. Dying.

I took a break from D4 for a while so I've been enjoying all the QOL improvements and such, but my god the difficulty design compared to Path of Exile 2 is just night and day. I'm not crazy about PoE2 but I respect how it respects me. When I struggle on a boss there, it's very clearly always a skill issue that I can overcome.

This? This is just being instantly killed out of nowhere with no hope of avoiding it, just because game thinks my armor number isn't big enough. If that's even my problem. Edit: it wasn't, I had it capped lol

Really fuckin souring my enjoyment tbh. It was one of the biggest issues at launch and it doesn't seem to have improved much.
