Nah, don't do it. Pixels are overrated and unreliable to say the least. I sold my Pixel 7 within 4 months because I couldn't stand the hardware and software issues- and before I sold it, I found myself using my 3 year-old S10e way more
The Pixel 7 is literally one of the worst phone I've ever used. Very much like you said: HORRIBLE battery life AND front camera. Volcanic hot SOC and non-working biometric and buggy software made the battery even worse than it already was out of box.
I also purchased the S23U like you because it was so off-putting using that shitty Pixel - and it's an infinitely better phone, in every aspects.
Thunder seems to load extremely slowly
I have the s23 and s23u and had a Pixel 7. Avoid the Pixel, it's worse than the Galaxy in every aspects- only the still-camera performance is better. My biggest gripes with the Pixel 7 were the non-working biometric, terrible front camera, phone heats up terribly and unreliable software that reduces performance randomly.
Just keep using whatever phone you have or get used iphone imo. I have the s23s only because of the Google Fi deals a few months ago.
Anker's Soundcore are making some hard hitting budget wireless buds. I recently lost my buds 2pro case so I picked up a the soundcore a40 on prime day. I was pleasantly surprised that the a40's ANC is better, the fit was more comfortable and battery life last quite a bit longer. My friend also said my mic was much clearer since it cancels out the background noise so much better than the buds2pro.
