Do you feel like their comments are AI-generated? Just my feeling...

Everything began when I discovered Shattered Pixel Dungeon while idly scrolling the Play Store. The pixel art caught my eye, so I tried the game and soon became a fan.

I wandered into the Pixel Dungeon subreddit to learn strategies and post screenshots of a lucky run. Then I noticed some moderators (00_Evan@lemmy.world) were moving to Lemmy. Curious, I followed—that’s how I found Lemmy.

AdditionalJoining Lemmy changed my life. I learned how much privacy matters and started caring about tech, FOSS, etc.; if I hadn’t noticed or taken an interest in the game, I might never have found Lemmy and would likely still be relying on Big Tech’s products.

Last but not least, I want to shout out to Oleg Dolya (watabou), 00_Evan@lemmy.world, the fork makers, and all the contributors for creating such great FOSS games and amazing communities. They are true gifts to the community—and to me.

(Actually, I'm not a new Lemmy user. I had an account on another instance before I deleted it for some reasons).

Until you realize the Play Store versions of some open-source apps have trackers...

I don't think the location where a service is hosted really matters. What matters is the service itself. (Or maybe it does, just look at the case of Lavabit).

(Also, seems like your instance is hosted in the US).

Anyway, I agree that Onion Mail is not popular and that we can't easily trust it.

What do you think about Onion Mail? (lemmy.frozeninferno.xyz)

Actually, there are two services with the same name, onionmail.org and onionmail.info. Anyway, what do you think about it/them?

Thanks in advance.

(Edit: free accounts on onionmail.org can only receive emails, while onionmail.info is pretty hard to use).
