That’s because turkeys take out the car with them. Whole shebang goes to the morgue.

Ok maybe not the morgue, but they do tend to get nicely lodged in whatever part of the car they get struck by. This is generally the front grill, as they are about 5-year-old size and tend to travel on foot, but they are flying bowling balls and can lodge into windshields pretty well too.

I’ve heard of a number of people hitting them (rural area) and the turkey soup always goes with the car.

My drunk self is a pretty good speller. Incoherent ramblings, but all properly spelled and punctuated (best I can tell).

Got anything stronger?

Ok, but siphonic systems still flush just fine if you pour water into them..? I’ve been doing it my whole life. Like even if you just pour water from a pitcher at a normal rate it’ll eventually hit a pressure point and flush itself (assuming there’s no clog). If you do it from more than a foot above the bowl it flushes basically instantly.

It’s season 14 of the 2005 reboot. The pre-2005 stuff is “doctor who classic” now, and there’s I think 26 seasons?

My favorite is when the ringing from power resonates with the tinnitus and ends up with an oscillating tone. Drives me absolutely insane.

I mean honestly the fact that it isn’t blows my mind..

You would think these companies (railroad and those using them for shipping) would have a legitimate and strong interest in knowing exactly where literally everything is at all times.

If they paid taxes, maybe, but imo they are being compensated already for something they aren’t even doing.

In reality children are just very small drunk adults. Without the intoxicant.

They can’t form really coherent sentences, they don’t care about social norms, and if you don’t put a stop to it they will talk your ear off about stuff only they could possibly care about.

They also throw up and hurt themselves a lot.

Drunk.

You know, I gotta say the whole Lemmy vibe has fixed a lot of that issue for me. I had some 500k karma on Reddit from comments, but I deleted all of them within a week of posting because the anxiety got to me. I wanted to be entirely transient there. Part of the conversation, but as soon as the conversation was over, gone.

Lemmy is a smaller more community-feel community in general, and other than a few bad actors, it’s really peaceful here.

I have wild amounts of anxiety about tons of things, and I don’t feel weird participating here (even without deleting all my content regularly!)

Once you get through the “I’m posting to help everyone here” barrier, which that silly message on posts with no comments helps a ton with, it’s such a good space to exist. Even if you don’t agree, if you do so from a place of open communication and accept what others want to share with you, you’ll be totally fine.

I use a password manager and have still had that happen.

Pasted from manager, incorrect. Ok, maybe I saved the wrong one… change password, use one saved because I’m too lazy to generate a new one - can’t be same as current. 😑 Fuck you, shit-ass Best Buy website.

I know it’s dumb, but because of the simple and engaging gameplay style, I really want them to make another Spyro now that they put out rifts apart. Rifts apart was an amazing resurrection for the ratchet clank franchise, and I really hope it’s one of many more - beautiful and incredibly smooth. And I’d love to see the same sort of grown-up retell for Spyro.
