Thanks, really appreciate the feedback! Really good luck with the project, love seeing these kind of devices making it into the wild. Yeah totally appreciate the nature of indie electronics/manufacturing in general and your work totally makes it easier and more approachable for a lone wolf like myself to churn out something functional!

Thanks for heads up on the BT audio, my little investigation the other night lead me to the datasheet for the ESP32-S3, the list of peripheral options is amazing, I'm sure I'll figure something out!

Thanks again and good luck with the project!

If you're getting a new motherboard anyway you might as well give it a go. There are some micro soldering training kits you can pick up for ~£15 to practice.

Specific to your point, my local state run/funded hospital does offer several rooms with birthing pools and midwife lead births, they weren't pushy in any direction regarding birthing options and were generally positive on the experience, certainly didn't discourage the option.

Granted this is in a hospital, doctors are on hand if required and the option is removed if the pregnancy is higher risk, but a no-Doctor/kiddie-pool birth in and of itself isn't super remarkable.

You're proposing Mercantilism or Feudalism as alternatives?

Yeah, good is probably the wrong word, I mean "positive in the sense it shows AI can't replace humans".

Correct, it's for tracking work items.

Janeway the butcher would just heartlessly murder them regardless, it doesn't matter.

I'm all for reducing jobs, tax the hell out of the owners of the means of production.

Yeah, totally get where you're coming from! Dev/Community engagement used to be fantastic (probably still is it's just mostly on Reddit) best of luck!

Don't know about OP, but I have and do use FreeCAD regularly and it's a fantastic piece of software - in it's current form it's not suitable for use a lot of professional engineering setups.
