Funnily enough that's exactly what many full time microbloggers have been asking from Xitter for years. I always thought it was a silly idea and if you want to make money from your tweets print and sell them as a book like any other self-important celebrity or become a ghost writer for other people's Xitty microblogs. If you're that good, people will pay, surely.

And just like that Youtube becomes slightly less bearable again.

Are you telling me Apple hasn't seen through the grift and is approaching this with an open mind just to learn how full off bullshit most of the claims from the likes of Altman are? And now they're sharing their gruesome discoveries with everyone while they're unveiling them?

Well that's to be expected when you set extremely unambitious requirements in the first place. In practice it'll still be a disaster one way or another because they just don't think things through. The idea of "personal public transit" suggest they want to compete with buses but don't meet any of the criteria of a public bus.

Why can't the movie be for everyone like the game is? Why make it purposefully empty and soulless so only small children with a short attention span can enjoy it? Take some notes from the Lego movie. It's not that hard.

Yeah I know. Youtube tested them on me for only a day and yes of course I would rather see a black screen than an ad. I am not that needy for background noise that I would want to listen to an ad of the millionth MLM scam this month.

I mean it‘s the exact same if you visit Youtube without an account or cookies. The Internet has become a swamp of right wing and neoliberal populism that kicks down on minorities and people with lower than average income in general. The insane amount of completely made up rage bait stories that you get recommended is just unfathomable.

I think it‘s gotten to a point where it needs to be regulated how many lies a site can throw at you at the same time and I don‘t say this lightly. I just see no other way to get this mind eating populist machine under control.

Going by social media, it appears to me the young have nothing to lose and everything to gain in today’s America. They‘re backed to a corner in a country with extremely loose gun laws.

But how do you integrate a subscription fee into analog doors? You can‘t enshitify that!!

Crazy how self regulation always winds up like this. By crazy I mean predictable of course.

German here. There is no labor shortage, just a shortage of decent job offerings because lo behold employers are stingy.
