Or sometimes their kid would do it, or very rarely Derren would ask Samantha to enchant his boss or a coworker.

If you eliminate food and shelter you too can be a millionaire.

It's articles like this, that ignore the systemic governmental issues, in order to focus on individual behaviours these articles act as a cover for Australia's chosen systemic inequalities.

The cheapest lifestyle in Australia is to own multiple investment properties and be the daughter of a mining magnate who buys off and lobbies most of our politicians.

Just do that.

And for those who don't get The Wizard of Oz... It's the Author's views on the then current debate Re: Switching to a currency backed by Gold AND Silver.

The Lionwas Teddy Roosevelt... The Golden brick road leads to the Emerald City (which represents the US Greenback)... Oz is a foolish banker, making up lies as he goes... And Dorothy's Ruby Slippers were SILVER in the original novel.

I think the CIA and major banks ARE "institutional power". I think your viewpoint is a little lagging (which is fine, it's a lot to take in).

It's a reputation destroying tool.

It's advertised job does not matter if it can do it's really job... If you understand it's real job, why are pretending it has to achieve anything else to continue existing?

Extortion, control of narrative, politic construction and destruction. That's power.

So like I've been suggesting, your optimism seems misguided.

The whole Tech VC model is to fund things for decades until they've captured the market (and killed the competition)... But in this case we're talking the complete capture of dissent. I believe the situation is far worse than you're allowing yourself to see.

It doesn't matter if it can't do it's advertised job, it will still be fully funded (by investor money) for decades and escalating it's stock price, not to mention destroying the world in a very socially violent, politically suicidal way.

Which is the point: Peter Thiel is part of a xenophobic Catholic cult (based on the works of Rene Girad), called the "The rad trads". They believe causing an apocalypse will bring back Jesus Christ.

I'm not joking. This is a Hitler type situation. Many many people are likely to die.

P.S Thiel was raised in Swakopmund, South Africa, a Nazi town that praised Hitler.

It's backed by the CIA, large banks, and Palantir - it's obvious and I have no doubt that that's where they'll get YOUR DATA from.

Investors like that will aid the company, greatly, because they have a financial incentive to see a return on their investment.

Seems weird to just be like; "Oh hey chums, don't worry some-guy-online©™ is saying it will never work."

Thanks for your optimism, but do you know anything about Palantir? That they started out as the fruad detection department of early Ebay? Figured out how to ID individuals from large quantities of anonymized data - then went to the CIA and US government to make similar tools for them?

"Don't worry chum! It'll never work!"

VERY optimistic.

Garbos on strike, and royalty in town... Doesn't that just paint a picture.

Is she the one that pulled a male back up dancers pants down at the front so her and her friend could try to see his penis?

I think it was either her or Pink.

Edit: it was Katy Perry:

TL:DW: Palantir are partnering with the CIA, and AI companies to make an algorithmic PR firm for everyone. Capable of using AI agents and decades worth of data collection to make and destroy public reputations on demand. Their first targets; journalists and activists.

During the French Revolution, the Conservatives were on the side of the aristocrats and french nobility. Squarely against the revolution and democracy.

Not much has changed really.

Palantir are now looking at using AI to help defend or destroy reputations, possibly starting with journalists...

And they're backed in this by big banks and the CIA. Making them a type of AI kingmaker, and a threat to anyone whose ever googled something weird, or asked an AI something weird:

The data collection device they've made the Internet into just became a threat to... everyone.
