We're just so in sync~
What a coincidence, you flashing your tits makes me horny too
I couldn't agree more. Back during the initial pitches of the Steam Machines, I was a supporter of the concept and was looking forward to the release. In my market, they took a long time to release and ended up being stupidly expensive. To give an idea, in my market an i3-powered unit was expensive as an i7-powered one in the US despite not having that problem with PC components or even prebuilts. Eventually I spent the money on a parts to build my own rig that was significantly more capable than what the Steam Machine of equal cost would have been. I found little ways to make being a couch PC gamer viable without breaking the bank on horribly expensive niche products like lapboards and it's enabled me to become a PC gamer despite having been a console boy for so long. It's a shame because I think Steam Machines would make PC gaming so much more approachable to the average consumer (which I was at the time) and I hope they still manage to in the future.
Your funeral... hopefully somebody's shudders
Thanks for the tip. I had no idea it was possible to apply a negative search too.
Exactly. It's just narrative shorthand. I'm sure there are some people getting there jollies from the narrative side but those'll be the ones who don't have the impulse to turn the volume down when the Brattysis intro gets to the "You're the best big brother..." part.
Sadly, not my type and being honest, I quickly dropped the show.
Terrible advice. If budget is a concern, then a TV with organic decay really isn't what they should be looking at. That and with newer technologies like micro-LED, OLED is no longer the be all, end all it once was, especially when longevity isn't a problem for these other technologies like with OLED.
True but those games came out at a time when they were releasing a game every year or so and there were often still reworks to most of the assets they reused. This is a game that's coming after a decade of money grubbing. They aren't a plucky little upstart anymore.
I think they're probably referring to the auto-generated lists based on top artists the user has listened to. Those are extremely repeat heavy and is why I never use them. Weekly and Radar are terrific though, as you said.
I appreciate governments stepping in when it's clearly needed but these people get paid a lot of money to get this stuff right. I see no good reason they couldn't have implemented Do Not Track as the standard. Invasion of privacy should be opt-in, never opt-out, let alone some tedious task where you have to manually tick every box along the way.
Most browsers have some amount of settings for forcing sites to request permissions like geolocation anyway so there's little reason to have a borderline EULA to go through before someone can access a website. As for dark/light mode, the implementation on the web of dark modes is so all over the place that I - like many others - just use an extension to force it. It's not native, it's not perfect but it's better than nothing and better than some official attempts.
Thank you
