Not yet! I was surprised that home directory is shared across containers, but it makes sense when the system is the problem, not the files in home. Still, it is nifty to keep certain environments separated.
Oh, I totally misunderstood the OS. I was under the impression that using os-tree should be totally avoided for anything other than necessary system programs, and all other software should be installed with flatpaks or containers.
I now understand that using os-tree for some programs is inevitable, and I should embrace it, though still catiously to maintain as clean of an OS as possible for maximum longevity.
Nice! Looks like I have a fun night ahead of me!
Thank you for showing me uBlue! I want to avoid os-tree if I can, since that seems to defeat the purpose.
Rent-seeking. That is a term I finally see defined.
I do not mind buying software, it is continuously paying for it that feels wrong.
Yeah, interactions with software outside the sandbox can be annoying, but I am glad it is flexible enough to overcome those problems.
Love it! I am starting to feel good about this then.
Fun use case! It feels like hell experimenting with different DEs because the installs mess with each other. If only they were isolated somehow...
Man, no one's got time for anything.
It certainly has simplified things for me! To get anything so up to date, I would need to use something like Arch or the AUR, which is fine but I find unappealing (using Arch).
I never got to see the ending. I only watched a handful of episodes, and definitely nowhere close to the 66 that were produced.
I am glad that it has a good ending. Seems like a perfect capsule of a series.
That is haunting.
I tend to be pretty cavalier with my data, because only recently have I started amassing anything of value (starting to be the adult I needed to be 10 years ago).
Yes... I have some storage shopping to do.
It was waaay past midnight when I made my mistake. I should have been sleeping at least 3 hours before.
