Thank you, I'll work it out based on what you've told me.
I wish there was something for HP 800 G3s. I bought them used after a lot of deliberations and would love to keep it running for as long as I can while not losing out on functionalities.
It's been more than 30 years, can't say things have truly improved yet.
Yes, the other answer also suggests this and I think this will do the trick. Thank you for your response.
Phew! I almost believed I was asking for something beyond the scope of linux-fu. English not being my first language may be part of the reason but still I think I covered everything that was relevant.
Yes, that's exactly what I want and your post has given me the clarity I needed. M.2 wifi slots don't support disks so that option is definitely out. I'm going to boot with the latest Ubuntu live OS on a USB and attempt what you've outlined.
I don't have anything really critical on the zfs that is not backed up separately so I'm definitely going to attempt this and learn in the process.
Thank you for taking the time to respond!
Does portainer, and docker in turn, allow taking/accessing something like point in time snapshots of containers like VM software do? They make it easy to tinker with stuff, knowing that if I mess up, I can go back to a snapshot and be good again.
This could be turned into dark humour by charring the edges of the paper before posting.
Another such application that I wish had easy implementation for what you call base URLs is Apache Superset. Such a great application that I'm unable to use in my setup.
No, that's not it. I'm comfortably safe at 8 gigs.
Fascinating watch!
You'll probably also need a speaker to connect to the monitor to make it sound good. Long ago, I set it up on a 23" full HD monitor back when even 32" TVs were not full HD.
I do this with AAs. Basically put the side with the bump (positive) on the tip of the tongue and touch the flat (negative) side with a wet finger. It gives out a mild but distinctive 'taste', not enough to tingle but definitely something I am able to notice, when the cell has decent juice.
