It began with the forging of the Great Rings.

Three were given to the Elves; immortal, wisest and fairest of all beings.

Seven to the Dwarf Lords, great miners and craftsmen of the mountain halls.

And nine...Nine rings were gifted to the Race of Men, who above all else desire power.

For within these rings was bound the strength and will to govern each race.

But do you recall... The most famous one ring of all

They are in a two party system

Let's not forget that space station was made by the people who he fought in the war. That's got to figure in to those unmentioned psychological scars.

What kind of backwards, boring ass DM does that?

Did y'all form up another group without them?

Yep. Leftists are regularly fighting back against misinformation and carefully crafted narratives designed to make people believe lies even if said narrative isn't expressly untrue.

But masses of anti-war activists and so-called leftists in the US have now decided that war isn’t so bad

Nope. War is still bad, which is why the invading country should stop or be made to stop if they won't do so voluntarily.

Here's a fun exercise. If a foreign hostile power invaded the area you live in, using an excuse that has enough elements of truth to not technically be a flat out lie, how much of that land should be given up to appease them?

It's ok. Don't feel obligated to answer. I'm certainly not coming back to this thread.

I hope I'm not the only one old enough to be thinking of a Smurf yelling at me to adjust my TV

You're getting downvoted because you seem to be falling to understand that that guy is exceptional in that he is an exception, not the norm.

You realize it wasn't that long ago that black people were hanged for as little as looking at a white person the wrong way at times, yes?

Being super nice isn't a reliable way to accomplish what he has.

Even if it is it's not an option for everyone. A white guy acting like this towards a KKK member isn't going to accomplish this. A Hispanic guy doing it is unlikely to change a racist's opinion on black people.

Your statements come off as Elon Musk telling people to work hard to be rich because it's happened before.

It may be a useful tool in some circumstances, but one guy, or even a handful of them, does not prove it's the "best way".

I think while Insurrection and Nemesis are widely agreed as bad next gen movies I would argue they're better than the worst original movies.

If you can't acknowledge Motion Picture as bad I don't know that we can have the discussion on a solid base though.

Lot of comments here with single down votes. I wonder how salty op is

Fighting the very laws of reality sounds way more challenging than fighting that dude over there.

But what about boring jobs. Are there Klingon janitors? Klingon repairmen? Klingon construction workers?

There have to be Klingon chefs, right? Isn't replicated gagh inferior? Is blood wine just blood or are there Klingon vinyards?

They didn't always have replicators so there must have been Klingon factory workers

Sure but until they do a lot of those people need tips to get by and it's far from as easy as "just get a different job"

Which is weird. I don't know how they even hold the fork.
