Didn't I read this headline a few years ago?

Didn't watch Gravity Falls but as far as I knew they were confirmed gay, admittedly in the finale.

There was also a gay cop in Onward

I also don't agree that Finn was a minor character, he was a regular focal point in two movies much to the annoyance of the same conservative groups.

I'm by no means suggesting Disney is anywhere in the neighborhood of acceptable. Gay characters have a tendency to be tiny roles or unpromoted movies (I watch a lot of movies and I hadn't seen anything for Strange World before it released). I'm just saying "never" is probably inaccurate for modern Disney.

Sorry, can't help but make light of this fucker's bullshit, pardon the French.

It's no trouble at all, but I don't know what a seal has to do with any of this or how you spelled phoque so badly

TNG season one is like beautiful scenery along a terrible road. At times you wonder why you're driving down it but then you remember.

Season two they switch to a gravel road. It's still not the best experience but it's easier to watch what you came to see.

By season three the road has gotten smooth but you wouldn't have the same appreciation if you'd just turned on to the road then.

I see what you're saying, but Frodo literally couldn't have done it without Sam. We see that directly.

We don't know if it could happen the other way around or not because that's not the story we were told.

I'm not trying to diminish what Frodo did but it seems to me the statement "Frodo was the only individual in the world that could do what he did" does so for Sam's contributions.

Honestly all of it wouldn't have worked without all of the surviving Fellowship's (plus Gollum) actions, but Sam's are the most direct.

It seems to me there's a reason that Aragorn didn't bow to Frodo, but all four of the Hobbits. They were all simple folk, not warriors who achieved great things with plenty of sacrifice. Elevating Frodo does a disservice to the others.

I see you resisted the urge to say who

It's slow with bad pacing. There's are things that are obviously supposed to look impressive but even if they ever did (for which there's disagreement between the nerds old enough to remember) it absolutely did not age well. Those are the obvious ones off the top of my head without having watched it in a few years.

I guess I'll have to give this HD director's cut a shot but I'm pretty skeptical.

Fair enough. Nothing indicated to me it was supposed to be today's date.
