Somebody who only speaks violence will not respond to peaceful methods. I'm not excited by the prospect of violence but we also can't just let ourselves be trampled because of some misguided notion that "Well, they decided on violence, there's nothing we can do because violence back would make us worse 🤷♂️"
Ive heard IRL people say its rigged because apparently mics will be turned off if it isn't their turn? Idk if thats true but I'm fully behind the idea personally lol.
"Sure I can't afford housing but not allowing investment bankers to own 75% of the housing stock infringes on my personal freedom!"
It's a murder fetish. Flat out. They can hem and haw all they want, the end goal of owning a gun is murder.
"what if someone robs you?!"
So what, take my wallet with no cash and a card that'll get locked. Take my phone and watch that are locked and my phone is set to factory reset after a few wrong codes. I can replace them.
"What if someone breaks into your house?!"
It's just stuff. 🤷 They don't want my fireproof document safe they want my consoles and pcs. My pcs are all backed up off site and the drives are encrypted.
In both cases I have serial numbers etc of everything also saved off site to report them stolen.
I put life over stuff. If you gotta pull a gun on me and demand my wallet you're CLEARLY having a worse day than I am. If I do have cash whatever take my $50 idgaf 🤷
I pay for a bunch of crap because I split it with my ex, but now I'm waiting for them all to throw a bitch fit over multiple households so I can just go back to the implied activity.
I like paying for things, and have been more accepting than most about price hikes cause I get that servers cost money. Lately though I've been tired of reading about the "pay more as we strip content" strategy everyone is utilizing. The real kicker though is watching people who outright paid for content having it stripped from them.
If purchasing isn't owning, piracy isn't theft. Of course I'm aware of the legal reality of content ownership, but it's still implied that by "purchasing" a title you'll retain access to it. Like on Steam, if something gets pulled but you own it, they still have it tucked away somewhere so you can still download it in the future - They don't just tell you to eat a dick.
Why don't their liberal counterparts get it?
They do, but they support it. People need to realize "liberalism" is still right wing, and right wing is always anti-people/pro-monopolization.
We have no leftist presence or voice in America, and it really shows as democrats keep marching further right to court "centrists" that are never going to vote for them.
Bright side - more people seem to realize mid right or far right isn't the choiciest of choices, but downside is it's far too late.
J6 was all undercover antifa agents out to discredit Trump, that's why Trump is promising Day One blanket pardons for any and everybody involved.
If it had been a liberal mob, we'd be marking the anniversary of the January 6 massacre, and it'd be a holiday for Republicans.
"You're no longer allowed to be upset at your government and if you are you'll be met with violence"
people use violence
"They just love violence nobody said they were upset!"
Fuck yeah let's go heat death
"We close deals for breakfast
Until a worker wants to 'pay his rent' like some whiny bitch"
Well, sure. We've decided that while Nazis are bad, standing up to them hurts their feelings and is therefore worse than the whole Nazi thing
I think all that symbolism - Nazi symbols, Confederate symbols, that stupid christofascist heaven flag, etc - should be legally ruled as implied threats of violence that are essentially always open to defend against.
TLDR see a nazi punch a Nazi should be federal policy.
