Could be a decent idea

I agree, but I think something is already in the works, I'll check and probably make something practical to sync the two. It's not really a new app that's needed but a feature integrated into freetube/newpipe

Did you really judge the current state of linux by using a 2 year old distro?

It works on my self hosted vaultwarden, they must've made a mistake when writing this

one of us should make an android phone company that makes a phone with an open source default rom, unlockable/relockable bootloader, headphone jack with a proper DAC, ir blaster, no notch or punchholes (like the note9), latest spec of USB for the port and latest Snapdragon chip

Gnome devs will never listen to criticism. Even if you do a MR it might get denied because it contraricts with the "Gnome way". Just use KDE and live an happy life. KDE can be easily modified to look like Gnome and have all the QOLs you need.

I think you're being disingenuous, you perfectly understand this phenomenon but it doesn't appeal to you. Paying for pixels will always be dumb anyway.

Those are fake indie games. They re-create the indie aesthethic to appeal to ethical consumers.

Dave the diver is not indie because it's published by Nexon.

Lies of P is made by a previously unsuccessful company, but it's also not indie. They made a lot of games in the past like Battlefield Online

Tumbleweed is pretty much the "official" kde distro

I once left my phone non locked in my pocket once and it started typing a ton of gibberish in a serious group chat. So yep, could've been worse for you

It's not exactly lesser known, but I only use Kate on both Linux and Windows

I've been struggling to find a solution for the last 30m. I tried the following

  • Install gnome-settings-daemon
  • Install xdg-desktop-portal-gnome

I already have the kde and gtk portals installed (it comes by default). I am using OpenSuse Tumbleweed. Those apps are running under flatpak

EDIT: It was a bug in XDG Portals and it was fixed
