Hey folks. I'm relatively new to lemmy and the fediverse. After spending some time here I really like the idea and most of the implementation but there is one major flaw. As a user I cannot seem to ban a whole instance and that really sucks. I do not want to get bombarded by porn all the time but there are more porn communities on lemmy than stars in the universe. I can spend all day blocking them one by one.

So I either need a way to block stuff like porn and similar nonsense instances OR I need a instance finder that can help me find an instance by entering what stuff I need banned and what stuff I need federated. I do not have the time to look through every instance myself.

Interesting! Hope your school goes well. Pop OS is an operating system. I guess it was just a coincidence you commented there.

Same movie for me and same impression too. Not sure if the monster's were even necessary. Also it had more of a "run away from the explosion" vibe than a "oh this uboat is about to implode" vibe. But I can confirm it is ok-ish.

Edit: That's crazy. I've looked at your profile since I thought it's a funny coincidence. I've also lived in South Korea for a while and I've also used Pop OS in the past. Really interesting. May I ask what you are doing in Jeju-Do?

So clicking on an instance's instance list I can see all the linked instances and all the blocked instances.

Are these all instances that exist? What happens if a single person creates an instance? Is it then automatically "linked" or "blocked" or does it just exist "unlinked". If it exists "unlinked" then what is the difference between "unlinked" and blocked". And how could I get my instance linked if I create a new one?
