You're very good at saying you're right and very bad at providing evidence. The best thing about lemmy's size is I can recognize which usernames to disregard immediately.

Not what I said. I used the exact language the above commenter used because it was specific and accurate. Also, inadvertent copyright violation is still copyright violation under US law. I'm not the biggest fan of every application of that law, but the ability to keep large corporations from ripping off small artists and creators is one that I think is good and useful under the global economic system we live under currently.

Learning is not being able to reproduce a news article word for word.

Except that, again, as is literally written in the comment you're directly replying to, it has been shown that AI can reproduce copyrightable works word for word, showing that it objectively and necessarily is storing particular creative works in a particularly identifiable manner, whether or not that manner is yet known to humans.

The creator of critical race theory (a very famous and highly regarded black lawyer and law professor) would agree with this guy. If you don't believe me, look him up. He argued for segregation to remain the law of the land when Brown V BoE occurred, but for 'separate but equal' to be actually enforced. Instead, schools were desegregated to change the global American image in the name of the Cold War and fighting the ideological battle. His vision would have seen eventual desegregation over a period of time on a set path to avoid the mass violence and angry sentiment incurred by too fast a change. The same thing happens today with trans and gay people getting called groomers. We were doing alright (in the US) until Obergefell V Hodges. Same thing.

Straight up. I had one that wouldn't even kill stuff. He would literally just let chipmunks go in the house as his plaything. Fucking monsters, them kitties.

You might've already seen this, but try using the method of dimensional analysis where you work backwards on a single line and you'll never get one of those problems wrong again.

The key is just working backwards by units using the equations you have available. I know somebody that only got one of the questions on his MCAT correct bc he used this method lol.

Literally the entire first sentence.

Nor is pot. This guy is abusing drugs and asking why he's depressed.

Something I did like about the other place was the communities for localities, and while I doubt we've hit that type of critical mass yet I figured I'd shoot since I'm in a pretty big city: anybody else live in Brooklyn or elsewhere in the greater NYC area? I'll understand if this gets removed, just couldn't think of a better place to try it.
