Take in mind that lot of btrfs features need to be disabled (noCOW flag) for VM workloads to have acceptable performance. I usually just take the hit in performance if i need a VM (it's not my primary use), but it is there and is noticeable.

Not my idea, but sometimes it's just enough to listen to "crazy" people. They might not know what to do with wire seemingly spinning itself, but you will have much better idea what can be created with it. RIP Terry Pratchett

NVIDIA and gamescope is hit and miss for me. On some systems it decides to work, on some ot throws out errors and refuses to launch.

The inability to install Steam i can blame on PopOS. He could genuinely don't know that you should update your system first. At the point when he typed yes, do as i say when i first watched i wanted to bang my head against my desk. He clearly didn't read what was going to happen even when the system tried warning him.
