This is one reason im a basic income, universal healthcare, etc person. I have found the beuracracy that is put in place can usually be navigated by the gamers because that is what they do but it blocks the folk that could use the help and if they got it sometimes can be productive and even pull themselves out of the situation.

I find memory interesting. I see a lot of indication that different folks sorta have a different retention period. Granted we all sorta reset each night and only retain so much of what we keep in active memory but I feel like most people don't really retain much of things even 5 years back and even less can do 10 and less still 20 and less still 50 and further on your dead. This seems to be why our democracies can make the same mistakes again and again.

It is annoying as the glass bottle deposit thing was actually the cheapest option. It had a higher up front cost but once you returned the bottles it was cheaper. On top of that the taste is just better from glass as most beer drinkers know. Speaking of which beers should all use a standard bottle that does the same deposit/return thing.
