You'd need to grow the third party / greens by having them become a viable party in local elections and state elections first. The greens have failed to do that. Which means they have no chance except to spoil the election.

The Israeli soldiers seem to be murderers and killers who shoot wildly at the slightest provocation. They probably deliberately escalated this protest too.

It is INEVITABLE that Europe is going to become more and more fascist and it has nothing to do with Germany specifically. UK is arresting people for posting online about the genocide in Palestine. I'd argue that weird isn't being used as an insult, but to state that the bullies are in fact not representing the norm. They are outside the norm but pretend to be normal, they insist on being normal - which makes it weird. It's not an insult to us, but it is an insult to them. Which makes it funny.

Fascists believe in inequality based on identity, while we kinda thought we had this already sorted that we all believe in equality now. Like all people created equal. But their need to define an identity as superior and then attacking anybody outside the norm is being used against them. And it IS weird to do that, most people simply don't care if you're a little weird. We still have to learn to be more tolerant to more weirdness and not react with biases or irrational emotions. Respect weirdness.

So weird isn't being used as an insult but as a way to rob them of their power - their attempt to define a new normal. And their arguments and attacks against anyone else are becoming increasingly bizarre, less founded in reality, absurd claims. Comical. Weird.

There is the metaphor about slowly cooking a frog without him noticing, shifting the overton window. Weird sort of resets that. It is more an attack on what they DO than what they are.

Hate speech or fascist speech has to be repressed. There should be legal recourse but we are seeing now how the unfiltered and amplifying of profitable "polarizing" messages help fascism spread. It's almost too late.

The headline makes it sound like he doesn't know what's going on. It's rather that he is leveling an accusation and makes the media cover this. But even then this CNN article does it's best to not cover root causes.

I wish people would adopt torrent V2 because that one missing 500 byte file can make the video unwatchable. With V2 each file has it's own sha256 hash and can be checked and shared individually. It would also improve torrent health.

This is a major argument for anti-fascist action. Liberal mainstream society has always been very bad at combating fascism because they desire calm and order and lawfulness which fascists can exploit. So besides "liberal anti-fa" using legal means like suing the KKK out of existence you also need autonomous anti-fa to prevent fascists from recruiting. That is why it's legitimate to prevent fascists from speaking using "impolite" means, because fascists speech using clever lies creates fascist thinking. The right to free speech has to exclude hate speech.
