I have the magical ability to get nose bleeds spontaneously, and often enough that the school nurse saw me in the hallway of the school's office building today and knew exactly why I was there.

Anywho, it just happened during math class today and now I just stained my math notebook, great.

Fortunately, the blood didn't bleed through the other pages (It was a bit pricey for a notebook after all), but it's blood, and for obvious reasons, I would definitely prefer not to have it :)

Does anyone know how to get the stains out :')

Thanks!

P.S. I forgot to get my batteries recycled.

yeah but hearing about ai kind of gets boring the more I see people use it to make a quick buck and the more it spreads around onto stuff that doesn't need it :/

I've become very leery of any youtube videos (esp. shorts) with advanced sounding tts now because I don't want to support creators who make videos with mostly AI

That's foul, I was considering getting a Poco Flagship for my next phone. Though I guess if you manage to unlock the bootloader and run a custom rom, perhaps it doesn't matter as much if you don't get "HyperOS" updates?

This doesn't really bode well for Xiaomi's future though.

I personally am a sucker for Chinese Designed UIs, they’re really well polished and thoroughly skinned for Android, and Harmony OS (no matter what Huawei says about it, I’m still inclined to believe it’s Android) is no exception to that. The ecosystem stuff MrWhoseTheBoss showcased on Huawei products seemed pretty well done, and it made me think how good an ecosystem like Samsung’s could’ve been.

It’s proprietary though, and you can’t really get it on anything but Huawei phones. Unfortunately, these aren’t the golden days of custom roms anymore where people are porting Flyme onto their Redmi Note 5 Pros anymore :(

If it wasn’t for the obvious gripes I have about Huawei, I would probably have no problem using it, alas, I am just fine with using a custom ROM like RisingOS on my Pixel 6a anyway.

You can dispose batteries at Best Buy? Do you know where in the Best Buy you would do that in?

I searched up the store, the downside is that they’re all extremely far, even by car, so I cannot go there :( Thanks for the suggestion though :)

Oh sorry about that,

right now, I live in the US, specifically in California if that helps :)

I don't know how rare it is, but it hasn't really been painless on laptops from my experience. I've had to deal with trying to find the right kernel parameters to stop my laptop from freezing, to having an incredibly high default scroll speed which I've still haven't figured out how to change, to having to ask the orange alien place to figure out why my Internet card was not working. It may just seem like a hassle to some people, but I believe for most, it's enough of a hassle to just give up and go back to Windows.

Hey all!

I'm upgrading my PC with a new Ryzen CPU, cooler, and case and so I'm giving my brother my old parts (I5-8400 & Stock Cooler -> I5-9600KF & Noctua NH-U12s Redux).

However, I don't know whether he should continue using his current motherboard, the MSI B360M Bazooka (which will require some work transferring the motherboard into the new PC Case and installing the Noctua cooler) or if he should use the Motherboard I was using (ASRock H370 Performance)

Is one any better than the other? Are they comparable and should I save time by making him use my Motherboard?

I was thinking of making my first attempt at an android app a kbin app because of the lack of options, but their documentation (while done really well so far) isn't fleshed out yet.

Lemmy's Documentation is very confusing to me as someone still learning to program (does it get better when you are more experienced???), but it's definitely a lot more fleshed out, so that's why I'm attempting to make just another Lemmy client looool

Should I not be surprised if she doesn't though?

I'm on a phone too, and I find the left noticeably fuzzier, especially around that one black-haired guy's eyes.

and you keep the company from going under by buying their products so buy it next time if you need a new laptop and can afford it =) and make sure to upgrade whenever you need it =)
