Also I don't want more Americans moving here.

I have a sad feeling the rest of the world feels the same way.

I'm at the point where I want to leave these borders. I want to go somewhere relatively quiet and developed that has worker's rights and isn't some major turbulent player in the game of global domination.

I'd respect my new home and integrate and do my best to get along with my new neighbors.

But I'm pretty sure we're stuck here to endure this madness.

The rich have already departed though. So you'll probably end up with less humble American refugees and more pompous real-estate moguls. And for that, I'm sorry.

I cringe so hard at the twitterist carebear-hugbox way of smugly claiming the intellectual high ground and shaming somebody:

"Be better." or "Do better."

The sentiment isn't terrible, but it's prevalent use is obviously just dripping with arrogance and thrown out in the most petty ways. Ugh!

You'd think the working class would be a part of society "too big to fail." =\

EVERY TIME!!

"A program is preventing Windows from shutting down"

The program : A generic non-descript white box icon with no title.

Clicking shutdown/restart anyway becomes standard procedure at this point.

Funny to see this, because I haven't bought a vehicle in a long time, but I had the EXACT same thought.

I grimace every time I see that hideous "CarMax - - -" decal stuck to the actual car body.

Same with license plate frames that are like "Huge 'Dicky' Richard's Auto Circus Emporium Honda Jeep Lexus - We rub you right!"

At least those just tell me "the driver is likely lazy or can't identify a screwdriver." But an actual decal? Yeah they better take it off, and discount me if they scratch it in the process. :p

Obnoxious, man.

This reminds me of that poster in my highschool chem lab:

Same with shooting without eye/ear pro. I dunno about other folks but I use my eyes and ears a lot, and I'd hate to miss out on music and color the rest of my life because I thought I would have a transcendent experience blowing them out for a minute. 😬

Ludlow Massacre and the Battle of Blair mountain.

It blows my mind how blatantly these events are not taught to anybody. Never forget.

When repairing my car I snapped a bolt in an awkward place. This really sucked.

Worse, so many of the "guy in a garage" youtubers were like "Yeah luckily I already have the engine block out..."

Or "Grab your handy dandy lathe..."

"Super easy you guys, just get your welding torch..."

Yes! My thoughts exactly!

During the pandemic when this was all happening, it was a bright spot of optimism that things could finally begin to get better as people realized how much nonsense wasn't necessary.

But the propaganda machines were in full force pushing fabricated tales of people who "missed the energy of the office", and everything was about "getting back to normal" instead of making a new, better normal!

Heck I even saw edgy righties on places like iFunny getting all based saying "I can't believe we're being exploited like this! Jobs are such a scam."

It was beautiful.

Where did it go?! Why do we so easily forget??

I did think it was clever, but I distinctly remember for R6V1, every single billboard, truck side, and bus stop poster, was Shia LaBeouf staring at you with binoculars for the movie "Disturbia" lol.

I guess in the R6 universe that was going to be the biggest film release of the century hahaha. Maybe they just didn't get a ton of takers?
