It was never officially named PSX, but it was called that way by people for some reason. I guess to differentiate the fat and slim versions.
I'm guessing it's the same common issue present on many Gigabyte AM4 boards. The IT8792E (and perhaps others) doesn't work with the kernel driver. There are workarounds but they make it so that other ITxxxxE chips don't work. I have a Gigabyte X570 Ultra and can only use ~half of the fan headers with lm_sensors. I haven't been able to get them all working.
https://github.com/LibreHardwareMonitor/LibreHardwareMonitor/issues/251 Here's some more info that may be useful.
Edit: or section 6.6 of the Arch wiki link you shared.
This doesn't solve your issue but can't you at least merge the gcode files so you only have to start the entire process once?
For me it was migrating my Arch install from EXT4 to ZFS. GRUB had to be configured in particular ways to get it to work with ZFS and I didn't do it properly so it wouldn't/couldn't boot.
Then I updated ZFS to a version that wasn't supported by GRUB yet so I chrooted into my installation to switch to Systemd-boot with Unified Kernel Images. Now I still can't figure out how to add a boot entry for Windows. I followed the proper steps I think but selecting the Windows entry just reloads Systemd-boot.
Do you also think the same about alcohol, tobacco, drugs and gambling?
I agree with top comment. The point of Garudo is to be usable out of the box. Only thing left to do is install software, games and optionally tools to manage Proton/Wine versions. To summarize: Steam + ProtonUp-Qt (to download protonGE for Steam), Heroic Launcher for Epic+GOG games and/or Lutris/Bottles for everything else.
1030's can be both low profile and passively cooled. They are cheap but their performance is quite low. I think it's slower then modern integrated graphics. 1650's are also available without external power.
On AMD's side you can go for either a Radeon 460 or a Radeon Pro WX 5100. I think those 4 are your best options.
Edit: I think as someone else commented the RX 6400 might be the best option nowadays.
Arch users don't like it when people say they use Arch when in fact it's an Arch derivative. Especially if you mention it on the Arch forums.
They've fixed it to a point where it's a great game, I agree. But this post is about preordering and preordering and then having to wait for more than a year to play a properly fixed game beats the purpose of preordering in the first place. You could get it for a steep discount at that point.
Yeah that makes total sense. It's my own fault for not noticing. I use them everywhere but my bedroom.
Oh man, Battlezone: the Red Odyssey was one of my first true gaming moments and I loved it so much. It was my most favorite game for a very long time. It was believed for a while thar the source code got lost and it therefore wouldn't become available as DLC for Battlezone 98 Redux, but I guess the developers either found it or remade it from scratch since DLC has been available for some time now.
I bought Battlezone 1 some time after experiencing Red Odyssey and I was sure it had background music though. It was one of the very few boxed games I bought and remembered it had an awesome looking manual. In 1999, Battlezone II: Combat Commander was released and I don't think it had a story but only a skirmish RTS/FPS mode. I didn't like it that much.
Battlezone Gold Edition (2017) has nothing to with the above series I think, and seems more like a spinoff of the 1980's Battlezone. I've seen this game once before but totally forgot it existed until seeing it now. Battlezone Combat Commander (2018) is a remake of Battlezone II (1999).
On a slightly different note, around the same time, Machines made by Acclaim got released which was an RTS where you could control any unit as an FPS. The name is quite unfortunate since Googling information about it is difficult. If you like Battlezone then then you might like this one as well.
