Cuffed would be more like detained. Not free to leave, because they're actively investigating, but no charges are being presented. Literally just placed in cuffs while the police do their snooping.

I have no opinion on eating the tail of the shrimp with the rest of it. The concept of ordering or cooking shrimp, eating the flesh, and then giving someone else the tail is absolutely INSANE to me. It sounds like a bit from a sitcom.

I can see that as a legitimate intent. Unfortunately, intent is often hard to convey, without like, what, 4 posts worth of comments on a social media thread? I don't really care about the word myself. I just wanted to highlight how, even without malicious intent, you can end up hurting someone you don't want to.

The issue is, you're using a disability as a weapon. You're saying "it's bad to be retarded. You're retarded. Therefore you're bad." The very act of using that term as an insult necessarily insults all people who are themselves medically retarded. In short, if being retarded wasn't a bad thing, why would you use it as an insult?

Sounds delicious to me. A spicy sweet sauce, perfect on top of a burger.

Edit: or Chicken sandwich

You're wrong, but that's okay. Those movies are masterpieces.

So wait is it okay to use the black slur to a white person, or the gay one to a straight man? Say what you will about using this particular word at all, but that's a weird distinction.

I feel like when you're talking corporations, hanlons razor needs to be reversed. Never attribute to stupidity what could be adequately explained by malice. We'll call it Nolnahs razor.

Why are people like this? Shit life syndrome. What do we do with them? Offer them compassion and support.

I used to think my desire to play female characters was a "closeted trans" thing. It's not. I'm definitely a cis gendered male. I've realized, at least for me, it's more of a self worth thing. I don't want to play as something I don't particularly like, such as me, and so I play something as opposite as possible. I'm working on that, tho.

Hey folks.

I've tried to get a filter working for all of the "this is an automated archive" posts from reddit. They're pretty useless to me, as there's very rarely any engagement, and they tend to show up en masse when a community decides to just mass archive from reddit.

I've attempted to set up a keyword filter with "automated" "automated archive" and "this is an automated archive" but with no success. I assume the keyword filters are only looking at the title text, not the description. Is setting a filter like this possible at present time?

Hey folks. Got a pixel 7 pro, and it's been alright, except suddenly, if I press the fingerprint sensor on the lock screen for just a split second, it makes the WHOLE SCREEN go full-brightness, with a green tinge. I know it's always lit up the scanner area, which is all it lights up if I hold the sensor, but if I release it early it's actually very uncomfortable. Any suggestions besides the obvious "don't let go 5head"? Is this an android version bug, a hardware issue? Anyone else had this happen?

Edit: autocorrect

Remember everyone. If you see someone shoplifting from Walmart, no you didn't.

I just moved into a new house, and it has a weird step in the bottom of the closet, that is covered in carpet. I've seen this before, and it could just be coincidence, but is there possibly a weird architecture or design reason for this, or is it just a quirk?
