@TWeaK @rambaroo valve is currently fighting France for the right of consumers to share and resell games purchased on steam.

@PM_ME_FEET_PICS @njinx yes! This is why that we really need to start pushing for alternative gaming business methods. Itch.io is great for this. Better than gog in my eyes for really bringing forth gaming space to a more democratic and DRM free space. The mission needs to include more open source, libre software and we need to support that. Gamers making their games their way and not trusting third or fourth parties to get them there.

@dingus @Eheran this sounds terrible. What are you going to do?

@irmoz @const_void we as gamers need to unite and not have to feel like we need to participate in this manner. We can create things we like on engines and systems of our choice. We make it worse by indulging in individualistic behavior of not standing by our fellow gamer.

@Null @citrusface is Linux better than windows? I have a Mac? How can I put Linux on it?

[-] Privatepower42@fosstodon.org 1 points 1 year ago

@BitingChaos @petsoi this is why valve or some other true Linux laptop need to come in the game. Steam deck proves that Linux can be fun and useful. It’s hard finding a gaming laptop that can be used for all day work like school or whatever.
