Weirdly, Pixels are actually the best Android phones for installing custom ROMs, at least out of the major manufacturers. So for me, there isn't another choice, because I can finance a Pixel, and I can't finance a Fairphone or something.

GrapheneOS is really the furthest away from Google you can get on an Android phone and it's mainly developed for Pixel.

I disagree with this and its my experience that there are assholes speaking every language and that the English speaking world tends to be the most understanding when it comes to second language speakers using improper words and/or grammar.

Rights are granted to you as long as you follow the law that grants you them. Once you break the law certain rights can and will be taken away from you because you are no longer following the contract that allows you to have them.

I would highly disagree with you. Linux doing basic web browsing and word processing is a huge win. Those two are where people who don't care just default to Windows, which makes it much harder for people who want to use Linux in a professional setting outside of software development. If professional documents default to .odt instead of .docx, that's massive progress in my mind.

Yes. If you install Graphene and no play services your phone is de-googled unless you use Google services through a web browser or install another app that contacts them. Google does not have magical hardware level telemetry.
