I bet a lot of people peddling homeopathy just think it's herbs and water, and don't know the initial theories behind it like "the law of similars" (thinking something can be treated by a substance that causes similar symptoms) and miasma (outdated idea on how diseases spread), or the fact that it's often so diluted to the point where whatever was originally there is essentially gone.

At least some natural/traditional remedies are legit, but still see an actual fucking doctor over anything serious.

Maybe not outright illegal, but I think it should be heavily regulated. I've heard way too many stories of kids being raised in isolation and barely being taught even basic math under the guise of homeschooling.

People get really upset over a hypothetical. I don't like posts that put all men down, but this wasn't one of them.

Also bears generally mind their own business as long as you keep your distance, with statistically less than one person per year dying from a bear attack in America. The last time it happened in my state was several years ago and due to some dumbass intentionally getting close to it to take photos.

Wonder what will happen if we put Yandere Simulator's code in there.

Male abuse/SA victims. It's already not taken seriously enough when it happens to women, but when it happens to a guy they get put down even more and told to "man up", sometimes even by people who'd support them if the sexes were swapped.

I had no context when I first saw this image and assumed it was something drug related.

So instead of making their games more easily accessible and re-releasing old games, which has been proven to reduce piracy and may even be profitable, they just throw money at a lawsuit attacking an emulator?

I'd rather a hundred of those than some kid with mommy's iPhone watching brainrotting Youtube Kids videos all day with the sound on. At least then I won't feel bad for the kid.

Unfortunately I have the gene, but onions are great though.

I've seen some SciFi media with floating cities on planets with thick atmospheres, such as gas giants or Venus. It's a neat concept imo that I'd like to see more.

Celestial Seasonings tea and Shen Yun both have ties to cults. With Celestial Seasonings the cult that founded it no longer own or profit off it thankfully, but their tea is shit so I still don't recommend buying it.
