The fascists will still be there, you’re absolutely right. However, do not undercut the cult of personality. People not under the spell, can’t/won't see it but all of this is built off his “charisma”. Their momentum will absolutely falter when he’s no longer around.

Once it happens, we cannot allow for elected members to talk about “coming together” and “moving forward”. These ghouls must be held accountable.

I understand that colors can color, heh, our perceptions but being a primarily visual animal means that we can digest information much quicker through color.

Without seeing the charts, I can’t say if the Prof is just being a curmudgeon or not.

I completely understand someone not wanting to have or not wanting to bring kids into this mess, but I also don’t think this is a gotcha.

Very interesting. Since I left windows, this isn’t an issue for me but I will be more aware that this can happen now.

I used Plex, and have a lifetime account, for the past decade. I just switched over to Jellyfin this week.

Feel free to ask any questions that you have about differences or my opinion.

There’s amazing and terrible manuals everywhere. One of the key things is defining target audience. From there you define experience and knowledge.

If a manual is intended to be for a broad audience interacting with something new, then you use the lowest level reading level that still makes your point. From there you work on flow because there’s a 1000 ways to skin a cat.

If LEGO manuals were only written step by step instructions, at a college reading level, then they miss a key demographic. Yet, people would still walk around like “That’s a perfectly cromulent instruction manual!” Technically they would be correct but it misses the point.

You’re remembering correctly. Back when chrome was the lightweight browser with the cutting edge features. So much enshitification since then :(

Yea, I think this depends on when you grew up learning your browsing habits. Back in my day lol when tabs came around, the computers could only handle a small handful before bringing the computer to its knees. Now the browsers don’t actively load the other tabs but I still can’t stand to have more than maybe 10 tabs when I’m researching something before I get an eye twitch.

Yes and after learning of the shortcut, it actually makes me angrier when I get formatted text.
