It’s not “linux”’s job to be userfriendly, it’s up to the distro. Look at android, steam deck and chromebooks, three very userfriendly linux distros. Now we just need some billion dollar company to do what google and valve did with those for a desktop and we’re good to go.

Everyone, including criminals, should be able to vote or run for presidency. In the end, what’s a crime and what’s not is decided by the law, which is made by the politicians. What’s to stop a president from making something illegal for the sole purpose of making their opponents criminals so they are guaranteed a win next election?

There are such cases, yes. The vast majority of fat people I know personally however are fat because they sit at an office job all day while having KFC for lunch everyday. No matter how you spin it, this is extremely unhealthy.

According to the gnome website (https://wiki.gnome.org/Initiatives/Wayland/NVIDIA) gnome still uses a software cursor. Only KDE of all wayland projects has a hardware cursor with NVIDIA, while it AMD has it everywhere.

Pretty sure if it just “accidentally hit your dick”, you can just quickly wash it off without having to be aftraid of any infections. If you were pounding that chicken for a half hour on the other hand…

The nvidia driver has had this bug for a year now, still unfixed. Games will randomly crash with an Xid 109 error in dmesg. Some people (including myself) are unable to play games like Cyberpunk, Resident Evil 2-3-4-7-8 and Metro Exodus. And it’s not linked to proton either, it sometimes also crashes xorg itself, forcing a reboot. I’m starting to think nvidia will never bother fixing it.

I’m reading this at night though. Think of all the poor souls that will get flashbanged in the next few hours.

I assume they wrote it as 5000 and it got changed to 5E3 by the minifier as it saves a byte?
