I have the WTR R7 (N100 model 2 bay) and I can't really complain. It was fairly cheap and it does what it says it does. Power draw with 2 2.5" SSD's is about 11W average, but the RYzen one will be more.
I can't see the benefit of fancy terminal emulators. I use plain old Konsole (mostly on Plasma) and as long as it has good history search and multiple tabs, I'm good.
Already in the AUR as otf-suse and ttf-suse. :)
A solution would be to place these movies in a seperate Library and only give your mother access to that library, so it does not show up for you other users.
Why are everyone suddenly aware that Neochat is unmaintained. I mean, the last commit was 3 years ago and the last release alsmost 4 years ago. Just because the git repository got archived on a date does not mean that it was maintained up to that point.

there are issues with the software we’re using that can only be remedied by massive changes or a complete rewrite.
I think this was the main reason for the Wayland project. So many issues with Xorg that it made more sense to start over, instead of trying to fix it in Xorg.
The difference, as I understand it, is that Hyprland is not a DE, it's a Windows Manager. So it should be compared with the likes of Sway, i3 and Awesome.
What if your app actually needs access to the internet?
I technically still have a hosted website, but it's rarely updated anymore. It's very low priority compared to my self-hosted stuff.
