Its a logarithmic scale, it makes sense that 10 is the maximum. The difference between warp 9.1 and 9.2 is the same as the difference between warp 1 and 6, for example.

It's like decibels, there is a theoretical maximum. It just doesn't make much sense to TV audiences since bigger number = more fast, in a linear way.

The warp scale did indeed change. I Actually seem to remember that was adressed in TNG.

Also the stardate naming convention changed after TOS.

A sharkfin antenna is just a design feature. It says nothing about what data is being transmitted.

Assuming you live in Europe, check out the citroen ec3. Base trim doesn't even have infotainment and is affordable as hell. Still a great car to drive and very practical.

One thing the Renault does great is the ability to turn all those systems off with a dedicated button to the left of the steering wheel.

Unfortunately all these systems are mandatory for car manufacturers these days. Renault handels it about as well as a car maker can to be honest.
