Of the two, I think the Democratic consultants do more damage.

Voters rejected Kamala pretty hard in the 2020 primary. I'm pleased with the current momentum and thrilled with her VP pick, but associating Kamala's run with respect for voter's wishes is a bit of a stretch. It was the Democratic establishment that positioned her to be the candidate, not voters.

She was never a federal prosecutor. She has never been accused of this kind of "behavior".

From a US perspective, I see these tactics being used far more extensively by wealthy individuals and corporate interests than I do Chinese interests. Unfortunately, our government and especially our politicians are often directly involved in spreading misinformation and suppressing the truth. We need strategies that function outside of government to close the gaps between reality and public perception.

The Airbender movie was an amazing accomplishment of sorts. It somehow managed to completely suck in every single dimension a movie can suck in. Casting, direction, acting, fighting, pacing, dialog, special effects, practical effects, and wardrobe were all complete disasters.

I'm sure that a national firewall is next. These right wing freedom humpers are deeply envious of totalitarian regimes.

The good news is that if Trump's arguments hold, Biden can just send seal team 6 after his fat ass. The end of American democracy could almost be worth it.

If ever criticism is met with "But Trump...", then you are making their opinion irrelevant. There will always be a worse Republican.

It's not really about the nitrogen. Earth's atmosphere is 78% nitrogen already. It's the absence of oxygen that's fatal. Our bodies don't sense a lack of oxygen, just a surplus of CO2. The idea is to remove all the oxygen and the CO2. It's a slow suffocating process but, in theory, the subject would only experience falling asleep. Of course that assumes it's done properly and the subject isn't panicking, neither of which seem likely.

I share your objective, but how. The third party approach has been a complete and total failure, and the spoiler effect makes it dangerous. Pushing the Democrats left has achieved at least some minor wins. Third parties have had none.

"But if people just voted third party...". Great, you found a political strategy that can win, provided that the majority of voters do as their told. If we had that kind of unified engagement, any strategy would win.

He's not getting it through a Republican House, but he could use it to get a Democratic House. Getting the party lined up behind it would be a massive step in the right direction.
