This is indeed what I meant. I don't think that someone was actively trying to make the plane unsafe, but in the eternal quest for more profit engineers, best practices and safety reports where ignored to make the plane as cheap as possible, resulting in the current ~~flying~~ grounded deathtrap.

Except it wasn't law, only jurisprudence. And many law scholars warned about the exact scenario that unfolded.

Break em up, let the adtech corp buy the data from its various former sister companies and then see what the price of the data should be and which information is valuable and which isn't allowing platforms like YouTube to die in favor of less open platforms.

This opens the space to more profit and more large advertising companies to have access to my habits, sensitive information and more to do with as they please.

/s I don't know how to fix the issue, but it is clear several of alphabets ventures exist to feed the adtech beast. If the reallocation of these funds stops, several of the Google sisters will vanish in favor of what?

Jup, it's terrible. Where information goes to die. I wish devs would not use it as much as they do.
