I totally agree. Simply run PS3 or PS2 games. Extra fun with those enabling co-op. Then you can play with friends both locally and local through the network (like steam remote play)

If someone feels this is aimed towards them.. The internet is simply jot for them. Ignore them and move on xD simple. Wonder how they would handle sarcastic jokes on standup shows. Their minds would be blown!
