It runs out-of-the-box, I installed EA Play through Bottles and installed Battlefield V in my Bottle with EA Play and it just runs without any tinkering.

I tried to do that with Proton Tricks and other tools but as I remember it always threw the same initial error.

Pehaps the user (or in this case the bot) will not go directly to your website, but first to some method of captcha verification or something like that, or like those pages (SteamDB for example) that do not open directly but first open a blank page to verify your network and browser with a captcha.

Personally I have never used a Xiomi device to comment on whether it is a problem or not, but maybe it is, maybe it is like Windows Defender that deletes cracked .dll files when installing a pirated program or game and then the program does not start for no reason because of that.

Since what you download is a simple .exe it doesn't matter where you run it, be it Bottles, Heroic or Lutris, but the program should allow you to launch .exe and run them.

Gog-games is simply one of the best download sites for DRM-free games because the installer is a simple .exe, that's why I recommend it, you don't need Heroic necessarily but you can use it if you want.
