I keep a few old phones as spares but if I don’t use them, they get recycled. I have a ton of electronics that aren’t used, but could still be for the right project. It’s nice to have parts whenever you need them.

Depends, if there are recognized certifications those always help. Otherwise, your previous work does matter. I’m sure it’s a terrible experience, but it’s still possible.

Email aliases, password manager, debit card disposables, and put in fake info on websites. Anything more is unnecessary, unless you do high level work

Personally, I use a password manager, vpn, and all of my devices have minimal tracking and are fully encrypted. Just wanted to hear what others do.

I typically get unlocked phones because of that. I hadn't heard about the banks, but they are typically ok as long as they are unlocked and paid for upfront.

Graphene os is a privacy based android operating system. They run containerized google instances, and severely restrict their view.
